If this man is teaching a math class that you need for a gen. ed, then without a doubt take it! This class consisted of homework assignments, blackboard quizzes, and chapter quizzes. The final - a 10 question quiz. Great professor. Take him!

He is the most caring prof at SU. He really will try to help you with your grades. He is very dry and boring but he will help you to understand the material. You should def take him.

I have always been good with math, but even for a friend of mine who hasn't, we both did well. As long as you come to class you'll do fine. I almost never looked at the material in the book and I did well. He has hand-in homework assignments and a Blackboard quiz and an in-class quiz for each chapter, but there is no final and that was the best part. He is really understanding and I would def. recommend this class to anyone, whether you are good in math or not. And if you aren't good in math, this one is probably the one for you.

He was a good teacher. You get a lot of online things but they are really easy. He really helped people out with their final grades. He took your highest grades and used those. He just wanted everyone to do good. I would take him!

Subject: If you don't take him, you're a moron.  (Apr 03 2008, 11:04AM)

The first thing he did in our class was pull out a Koosh Ball. This was followed by an ice-breaker that was lots of fun. Though I have NEVER been good at Math, he has changed my opinion of the subject. I was a little worried about this class, but it all turned out well. He's helpful, thorough (if a little slow at times), and almost always available for questions. Tests aren't hideous, but you have to read the directions very carefully. I don't care if you have to beat other people out of the way with a very large stick, make sure you take him at least once:)

Sweetest and most caring man I have ever came across. He is known as the "easiest" teacher to take M for LS with and this is correct. So, if you want a pretty easy A, then I highly suggest taking him. However, every so often you may find a tough question on occasion on one of his tests.

 T. Evitts uses emails, phone calls (if wanted), and personal time to help every student to understand each problem. It is like we will not go on till everyone understands. His class is slower paced which helps all students learn. We also learn through several different methods daily and help each other learn. He does not call on you unless you want to answer. I wish he was teaching finite math!!! I would take him again for every math class at Ship.
